Attorney fails to appear for court hearing

The defendant in a sexual assault case appeared in Antelope County District court on Dec. 16. Dustin Garrison, attorney for Thomas A. Warnke of Beatrice did not, prompting the Honorable Mark Johnson to set a show cause hearing and a hearing on motions to sever for Jan. 28 in Antelope County District Court. A new runner-up plaque will grace the SPS trophy case. Summerland's girls' wrestling team finished second, Friday, at the EPPJ Invite, scoring 133 points. Wayne claimed the top spot in the 23-team tournament.
